This strawberry banana combination is what dreams are made of.
Ingredients
1 c. frozen strawberries
1 large frozen banana (slice before freezing)
1/2 c. Greek yogurt
1 splash of orange juice
1 tbs. rolled oats
Instructions
In a powerful blender or food processor, add the frozen banana slices and the frozen strawberries. Next, add the oats, greek yogurt and orange juice.
Blend until smooth, occasionally scraping down the sides of blender to ensure everything gets combined. I like to use a small spatula because it can get in-between the blades at the bottom, too.
Pour the smoothie into a bowl, and top it with your favorite toppings. My go-to lineup is fresh fruit, raw nuts, granola (I love the pumpkin flax granola via Costco!) and a sprinkling of ground cinnamon.
