October is here, and I’m more than thrilled to welcome my favorite time of the year.
This is how I’m planning to celebrate the season:
- Make homemade apple cider.
- Pick a perfect pumpkin.
- Host a soup swap.
- Pack a picnic, bundle up & catch a movie at the drive-in.
- Spend a day hiking Alta.
- Take a scenic drive through changing trees.
- Have an Old Hollywood scary movie marathon.
- Make at least one more trip to the farmer’s market.
- Spend a Saturday wandering Downtown Park City.
- Eat pumpkin cinnamon roll pancakes for dinner.
What made your fall to-do list?

Fall is my favorite time of the year too…although in CA, fall just means hot winds, fires, and a very dirty pool. Someday I need to move somewhere that has some REAL fall weather!
Enjoy your list – it all sounds fabulous!

That is a beautiful picture. I always loved Provo in the Fall. So so pretty. I’m going to steal this idea for my blog once the leaves start changing down here in the South. (Probably not for another month or so – it’s still 80 degrees.)
I’m planning on curling up on the couch in front of the fireplace with a blanket, a good book, hot chocolate, and a cat in my lap. Caramel apples and pumpkin breads/muffins of all kinds will definitely make an appearance too.
