Dainty jewelry is the best jewelry– it’s the perfect go-to for every day wear. Pair it with another necklace or two for a look that is feminine and adds eclectic flair.
You’ll need:
(1) 24″ Slide-A-Bead Chain
4 MM Freshwater Pearls or Glass Beads
(2) 2 MM Crimp Beads
Pliers
Begin by separating the chain from the closure on your necklace. You’ll do this by using your pliers to pull one end (the end without the circle) straight out of the cylinder.
Make sure to pull slowly and straight so you don’t bend your chain.
Once separated, start your bead arrangement with one of the crimp beads. This bead is smaller and will help keep your larger beads/pearls from sliding. You will also want to end your arrangement with the second crimp bead.
I used an odd number of beads/pearls because I liked it best. Feel free to play with your arrangement, making it exactly how you like it.
When finished, style your necklace in a tiered fashion by incorporating other lengths of jewelry. I like to wear my diy with an shorter 18″ necklace. I feel that the combination of lengths is perfect.
