70 degree weather is meant for grilling with family and friends.
Kylie and Dane joined us for an afternoon BBQ up at the cabin. All of our favorite recipes made the menu–roasted corn, guiltless guacamole, BBQ chicken strips, whole wheat rolls, and a hearty green salad. It was an afternoon filled with of great food and even better company.
BBQ Chicken Strips
1 boneless, skinless chicken breast per 2 people
1-2 c. BBQ sauce
1/4 c. steak sauce
2 tbs. herbs de provence
coarse sea salt & ground black pepper
Cut chicken into 1-2″ wide strips, and place in a large ziplock bag.
Pour BBQ sauce, steak sauce, herbs, salt and pepper into the ziplock on top of the chicken strips. Seal the ziplock, and massage the chicken strips to begin the marinating process.
Store the ziplock of marinating chicken in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours before grilling.
