Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch
Eat. is at the top of my Vegas list. This ‘Breakfast and Lunch Joint’ is known for serving delicious food made with fresh ingredients that come from local farmers. Nothing is more important to these guys than producing a quality meal. Chef Natalie‘s menu embraces the idea that your experience at Eat. should help to build the downtown community. This is done by eating local, eating happy, eating fresh, eating fast and eating smart. It is through these points that gourmet dishes are made in Eat.’s kitchen and then end up at your table.
After sitting down at Eat. on few separate occasions, I’ve picked out some of my favorite menu items. For breakfast, I recommend trying the huevos motulenos. It is a refreshing take on a breakfast classic, and the mix of spicy meets savory knocks the ball out of the park. For lunch, I’m a huge fan of the veggie burger. Unlike most other renditions, Chef Natalie puts her hearty veggie patty on thick slices of wheat toast. The combination of texture and flavor is unlike any I’ve tasted. Craving something a bit more sweet? I recommend going for a short stack of their golden-brown pancakes or an order of beignets. They are served with homemade toppings that can’t help but make your belly happy.
If you ever find yourself hungry and wandering the streets of DTLV, make a stop at Eat. I promise that you’ll be quite glad you did.
