Those Danes know a thing or two about making muesli.
3 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
2/3 c. rye flakes or wheat flakes
1/3 c. almonds
1/3 c. chopped pecans
2 tbs. unsweetened coconut flakes
1/4 c. unsweetened dried mango, cubed
1/4 c. unsweetened dried pineapple, cubed
1/4 c. unsweetened dried apricot, cubed
1/4 c. unsweetened banana chips
1/4 c. mix of raisins (craisins, golden, etc.)
pinch of sea salt
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of cinnamon
1/4 c. ground flaxseed
In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients, and mix well. Put it in an airtight container, and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. Serve with greek yogurt or almond milk as you would any regular breakfast cereal.
