Behind the scenes, woolen mill style . . .
While in Washington, we made the drive to Oregon to tour the Pendleton Woolen Mill. It is one of three mills, and it specializes in the creation of ‘The Legendary Pendleton Blankets’. From the processing of raw wool to the final stages of sewing, each blanket is inspired by the Bishop family’s first interactions with the Native Americans of the Old West. These beautiful and intricate tribal designs are what make Pendleton one of America’s most iconic brands.
