Better than your average cookie . . .
This weekend, I whipped up an extra special batch of oatmeal, coconut, chocolate cookies. It all started with a basic oatmeal batter. To it, I added a cup of unsweetened coconut flakes and a 3.5 ounce Lindt Coconut Dark Chocolate Bar. The combination is sweet and savory, chewy and crunchy. Topped with an extra sprinkling of coconut just before coming out of the oven, these golden brown cookies are guaranteed to please.
