The Pie Pizzeria. . .
I recently met a friend for lunch at The Pie Pizzeria. It’s a local favorite that has been dishing up pizza since the ’80s. Though the pizzeria is known for their Specialty Pies, we ordered The Wise Guy Zappi to share. It’s a hand-tossed calzone, stuffed with fresh spinach, artichoke hearts, whipped cream cheese and fresh mozzarella. The toppings are the best part–fresh basil, diced tomatoes, Romano cheese and a drizzle of sweet balsamic reduction. It’s also comes with a side of The Pie’s signature pizza sauce that is ideal for dipping. If this isn’t love, I don’t know what is.
Are you a fan of pizza?

Thanks, Emily. Oh goodness. Cheesy pull-apart bread is one of my weaknesses! I’ll have to give it a whirl.
