Deep conditioner is a girl’s best friend . . .
Living in a dry climate, I’ve come to know and really love my moisturizing hair care products. They are my saving grace–repairing and conditioning my dry, brittle ends.
In Shower: Aveda’s ‘Damage Remedy’ Shampoo and Conditioner are part of a four-step restructuring system. (You can find the addition two steps here and here.) These Dry Remedy products are specifically made to strengthen hair that has been weakened by coloring, heat styling and environmental exposure.
Daily: For day to day use, Phyto’s Lightweight Hydrating Oil fits the bill. I apply two pumps of the product to my wet hair after showering. The non-greasy formula instantly absorbs and leaves hair feeling silky smooth. For more details, read my weekly routine.
Once a Week: I apply Phyto’s Intense Hydration Night Cream every Wednesday night just before bed. It acts as a leave-in conditioner and infuses moisture into the hair for up to eight hours. This stuff is what dreams are made of (pun intended).
Home Remedy: Organic coconut oil is the perfect at-home solution for dry, brittle hair. It deeply hydrates and locks in moisture. Simply warm a 1/4 c. of oil in the microwave, and apply to hair from the ears down. Let it set for 30 minutes before rinsing clean.
Monthly: Once a month, I do an intense conditioning treatment. Phyto’s Dry Hair Oil Treatment restores hair from the inside out. It’s made with sage, lemon, rosemary and juniper berries. These essential oils help to deeply hydrate, protect and add extra shine.

This is so helpful! My hair has been feeling pretty unhealthy lately so I’ll have to try a couple of these.
