An overnight stay in Chattanooga to sightsee and eat . . .
Last week, I went on a road trip with my mom and sister. We started in Mississippi and drove to the furthest edge of Tennessee, making lots of stops along the way.
While in Chattanooga, we did dinner at the Boathouse. It’s a local hot spot and rightly so. The menu highlights ‘foods from the Gulf’ in the form of fresh seafood, Cajun and Creole spices and comforting classics. What to eat? The made-to-order guacamole can’t be missed, and you must try their rotisserie chicken. Where to sit? Ask for a table on their outdoor patio. The restaurant is situated right at the edge of the river, and the view is incredible.
