Ruth’s Diner . . .
Just up Emigration Canyon, this place has been a local favorite since the 1930s. It’s classic, quaint and has all the makings of a cozy spot for lunch.
Last week, I met a girl friend at Ruth’s Diner to play catch-up. The early fall weather and changing leaves made their outdoor patio the spot to be. I can’t image a better combination of canyon views plus delicious diner grub.
Every meal starts with Ruth’s famous mile high biscuits. They’re golden brown and super flakey. I highly recommend smothering them with a heaping spoonful of the homemade fruit spread. Next, we ordered the garden burger with fries and a plate of huevos rancheros. Unfortunately, the generous servings left no room for dessert. Don’t you fret–I’ll be back to try an old fashioned milkshake.
Have you ever been to Ruth’s?
