Blue Star Donuts. . .
While out and about in downtown Portland (more from our trip here), we needed a sugar-y sweet treat. Cue Blue Star Donuts, a local favorite known for unique and elevated flavor combinations. Basically, the pictures speak for themselves. Every donut is fresh, fluffy and covered with just the right amount of glaze. I’m taking edible works of art, made from scratch every single morning.
And can we discuss that beautiful display case? The store is just as charming as the donuts are delicious. We ordered the classics to share: Buttermilk Old Fashioned, Lemon Poppy Buttermilk and the O.G. Though the lemon was probably my personal favorite, I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite of every single thing I tasted. My eyes + appetite left completely satisfied. Next time we’re in town, you can bet I’ll be back for round two.
