Beauty resolutions . . .
To kick off 2016, I’ve made a list of do’s to help amp up your hair game.
Try something bold.
The new year is the perfect time to update or completely change your look. These popular styles are worth a try, and these color techniques are definitely worth considering. Feeling extra adventurous? Tackle one of this year’s hair trends.
Ditch the hot tools.
My hair is so much healthier now that I’ve scaled back the use of my blow dryer, curling wand and straightener. Instead, I simply let my hair air dry. Here are a few tips to make it manageable.
Deep condition once a week.
Every Wednesday night, I apply a deep conditioner before going to bed. It’s been especially necessary since the weather’s gotten cold. Hello, brittle ends! I’ve rounded up five ways to add moisture to your hair.
Make a weekly routine.
It may sound silly, but a weekly hair care routine holds you accountable. I highly recommend writing it down and taping it to your bathroom mirror. With just a few changes (like blow drying less!) you’ll have happy and healthy hair.
Drink more water.
This is extremely important for your overall health. Why? It hydrates your cells and creates a noticeable difference in your external appearance. I’m talking hair, skin and nails. WATER = #1 BEAUTY SECRET.
