An A-list lineup . . .
From a weekly deep conditioner to an everyday smoothing serum, I’ve rounded up my most favorite products.
Aveda ‘Damage Remedy’ Shampoo & Conditioner
I shampoo and condition my hair every other day with Aveda’s ‘Damage Remedy’ products. After years of color, this is exactly what the doctor ordered. The protein rich formula moisturizes and strengthens hair from the inside out.
Phyto Lightweight Hydrating Oil
Any time my hair goes from wet to dry, I use Phyto’s hydrating oil. I like to towel dry my hair and pump a dime-sized amount into the palm of my hand. Then, I rake it through the damp ends, from the nape of my neck down. As my hair dries, it reduces static and keeps the ends feeling smooth.
Blow Pro ‘Faux Dry’ Dry Shampoo
Last year, I made a goal to limit my hoot tool use to just once a week. This has been a game changer because my hair is the healthiest it has ever been. To cope with the days between blowouts, I use dry shampoo to extend the life of my style.
Phyto Intense Hydration Regenerator
I use Phyto’s hydrating night cream every Wednesday night. It doesn’t take much–I apply a dime-sized amount to the ends of my hair just before going to bed. It acts as a leave-in deep conditioner and provides up to eight hours of nourishment. The next morning, my hair always feels silky smooth.
Phyto Hydrating Oil Treatment
Once a month, I do an intense conditioning treatment. (I was first introduced to it by Kennedy at Salon O in Salt Lake City. If your hair needs some serious love, I highly recommend making an appointment.) Phyto’s formula is made with sage, lemon, rosemary and juniper berries so it naturally restores your hair. Plus, the essential oils are known to help to deeply hydrate, protect and add extra shine.
Aveda ‘Color Conserve’ Shampoo & Conditioner
After a color at the salon, I always worry that my color will fade after my first week of showering. This isn’t the case with the help of Aveda’s Color Conserve collection. The shampoo and conditioner keep my color looking vibrant and protect my hair from sun, water and environmental damage (think chlorine in the summer!).
Aveda ‘Volumizing Tonic’
My stylist recently introduced me to this volumizing tonic. Even though I only use it when I blow dry my hair, it’s quickly become a star in my beauty arsenal. I spray the tonic at the roots around my crown and at my bangs. It never fails to lift and give my hair just the right amount of bounce.
