Spring styles . . .
I’ve rounded up a few real-girl styles inspired by last September’s NYFW Spring/Summer ’16 beauty scene.
Middle Part + Behind Ears:
The Carolina Herrera + DKNY runway shows featured this style, and I love the retro-vibe. It totally feels like modern office girl meets Marcia Brady. What do you think?
The Collar Tuck:
If you’ve stumbled upon any NYFW street style photos, you’ve probably seen your fair share of the collar tuck. This model off duty ‘do both protects your hair from the elements and keeps you from having to style your ends. Win-win.
Messy Knots:
Undone, messy knots were all the rage at the SS ’16 Tory Burch show + J.Crew presentation. I love the idea of incorporating loose pieces pulled here and there–one might argue you really did wake like this. #flawless
Vintage Inspired Barrettes
Gold and silver barrettes studded the SS ’16 Rodarte runway. Though they were styled in a more dramatic fashion, I plan to work them into my routine in a more subtle way. The half up-half down style tends to be the trick.
Feeling inspired to try something new? What style do you love?
