Toast of Charleston . . .
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Why not start with a big, southern spread at one of Charleston’s local haunts? Toast of Charleston’s menu highlights low country classics and well-known diner favorites, ranging from savory shrimp and grits to a decadent plate of French toast.
This was my second trip to South Carolina, and I’m happy to report that it tasted just as good as the first. It helps when you’re traveling with friends that are just as excited about forming a breakfast club. I’m looking at you Molly, Beth and Alicia! We stuck with diner favorites, ordering the chocolate chip pancakes, French toast, a big bowl of oatmeal and toast with a fried egg. It made for quite the flavorful assortment of homemade deliciousness.
The meal was great, and the company couldn’t have been better. If you’re ever in the neighborhood, I highly recommend rounding up your girlfriends for a stop at Toast of Charleston. It doesn’t disappoint.
Sweet or savory? How do you like to do breakfast?
