Marination Ma Kai . . .
We spent our weekend in Seattle, celebrating Jake’s birthday and sampling some of the city’s tastiest grub. The combination of street tacos and malted vinegar French fries may not feel like an obvious choice. I’ll admit I had my doubts. But, this kind of Hawaiian-Korean fusion definitely works.
Our tour guides, Kristin and Cam (also seen here), love this place. The food is incredible, but the 180 degree view may be even better. Marination Ma Kai is nestled right on the water so the Seattle skyline takes center stage. Dinner never looked so good.
We ordered a round of tacos and a basket of hand-cut fries to share. It was the perfect late night meal to tie us over. I especially liked the ‘Malt Ponzu’ vinegar aka soy sauce for your fries–it’s salty and pairs really well with the sweetness in ketchup. Don’t believe me? Sounds like you need to make a Marination stop of your own.
