Classic trench coat . . .
I finally purchased a classic trench coat in traditional tan. It’s a piece I’ve always wanted, but I couldn’t justify designer markups. Fortunately, London Fog makes a coat that hits all the right notes. I love the under $200 price point and the high-end details. Plus, it comes in regular and petite sizing. Wouldn’t you say that’s a win?
While I had a baby bump, I liked pairing my trench with shift dresses. The combination felt both practical and fashionable–two things at the top of my wardrobe wish list. This similar non-maternity style by Old Navy is currently on sale for $22 + also comes in black. Snatch ’em up while you can.
Next come my favorite Wolverine boots. They’re available this season in two colors that’ll easily go with everything in your collection. As for accessories, I occasionally wear my boots with printed trouser socks. It adds a bit of warmth and acts as a subtle pop of color. I also add a grey ribbed scarf. It’s been my go-to for years.
