What’s better than a comfy, cozy sweater dress? I’ll give you one guess . . . A comfy, cozy sweater dress paired with these metallic gold oxfords. The best part is that it mixes both fashion and function for the perfect toddler-friendly combination. A holiday spent chasing Mary Jane couldn’t be cute-r.
I’ve always been a fan of sweater dresses no matter what stage of life I’m in. I wore one for our maternity session, They’re easy to wear and can be styled for any occasion. All you need are a few key accessories to dress up or play down your look. For example, velvet pumps instantly elevate the outfit while these leather boots tame things down. Headed to Thanksgiving dinner? Cue the trendy tassel earrings and a pomegranate lip.
If you’re anything like me, a pair of sensible flats make all the difference. Yes, my new shoes go with sweater dresses. They also suit the likes of high waisted denim, midi skirts and graphic t’s. Wear them to the office or a festive soiree–these oxfords add just the right amount of flair.

That dress is perfect with the gold shoes! I love a good sweater dress. I find that I wear them more with leggings/tights to work when it’s cold out. I usually pair mine with boots.

I looooove sweater dresses (and this one is so pretty)! They’re the best with boots and tights in the winter. So easy to dress up or down, too. 🙂 And those oxfords! I’ve been looking for a pair but am never sure how to pull them off. Maybe I will pull the trigger this season!
Jennifer, go for it! Buy yourself a pair of oxfords and just own it. I wear these with cuffed jeans and midi skirts, too. They’re a fun + quirky accessory.
