Ace Hotel Palm Springs . . .
This place is cool. I’m talking one of the coolest places I’ve ever been–the vibe, the amenities, the food, the decor. They say the devil’s in the details, and the Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs knows a thing or two about pleasing guests. I’m happy to say that I was one of them. Our weekend at The Ace was one of the best stays we’ve ever had.
Jake surprised me with a trip to Palm Springs over my birthday weekend. We’ve talked about attending Modernism Week for years, and this ended up being our perfect excuse. So, we packed up our carry ons, left the babies with my parents and headed off on a kid-free weekend. I was very anxious about leaving (it was my first time ever really being away), but I knew I needed a refresh. I desperately needed a break–mentally, physically and emotionally. This trip was like a breath of fresh air.
I couldn’t have imagined a better place to relax and recharge my batteries. The Ace Hotel really does check all the right boxes. The rooms are cozy and cool, there’s just the right amount of mid-century charm and the views from the pool are absolutely incredible. Think palm trees and mountains. Did I mention that our room had it’s own private patio and fire pit? Picture sitting there in a rocking chair, curled up by a fire and under the desert starts. Guys, it was as dreamy as it sounds.
I’m SO excited to share more content from our weekend. Coming up next? We toured Mid-Century Modern homes in the Indian Canyons Neighborhood (so much inspo for @ourmidmodreno!), we ate brunch at King’s Highway and I even got to snap a few fun outfit photos with Erica. Stay tuned, friends.
Have you ever been to Palm Springs?
Psst! Jake uses Rudy bath products and loves them. Plus, the branding is an AD guy meets minimalist’s dream. I can’t wait to store them in our new master shower. (Here’s the travel/trial size set.)

That hotel looks like such a cool place to stay! I’ve pinned this for future travel reference. 🙂
Last time I was in Palm Springs was in 2002 and it was for a dance competition. We did some exploring but most the time we were swimming or dancing! I want to take my husband there one day.
