I know I’m not alone when I share my hesitations + anxieties about swimsuit season. After two babies, my body just isn’t the same as it used to be. Don’t get me wrong–it’s not a bad thing! Even though I’m still learning how to love my body after pregnancy, I do swear by this one trick: wear red.
It may sound silly, but this trick has always been one of my go-to’s. Why you ask? The color red is considered a power color. The color red is also made up of both cool tones and warm tones. It’s the perfect balance. This means that red looks good on any skin tone and with any hair color.

I would love a red swimsuit, and actually, I used to have one! But I think I’m far too self-conscious to wear one, hehe! I have yet to find a swimsuit that actually fits me.
