Holiday vlog + party time . . .
It’s been one non-stop party at our place. Celebrating the holidays with little ones is really magical, sometimes emotional and filled with a whole lot of love. I can honestly say that this is the most fun we’ve had all year. We’ve decked the halls in tinsel, baked batches of festive cookies, scoured the city for twinkly lights, built forts + had movie marathons and learned every word to every song on our go-to playlist. This Christmas season is one I’ll always remember fondly. It’s the one that our girls made infinitely better.
Part of me wants to share everything, the ups and downs of such an unexpected year. I’ll save you from my waterfall of feelings because I know I’m not alone. I’m sure you’ve experienced a rollercoaster, too. Maybe that’s the beauty of 2020. It’s the combination of stress, fear and sadness and the continual effort to find joy. Is that the thing that brings us together? Instead of recounting the times we felt overwhelming disappointment, maybe we should remember the imperfect opposite? I have a feeling that the perspective switch will be our saving grace.
I’m praying that we can all find happiness in these final days of the year. Let’s forgive, let’s keep learning to do and be better. I see a future full of hope and excitement. Happy Holidays, friends. No matter how the world turns, we will make this new year a good one.
