Are you a fan of the show Home Town on HGTV? Have you read Ben and Erin’s book about life in Laurel? We binged seasons 1-4 before our big road trip, and we couldn’t miss the opportunity to snoop around the city. Yes, it’s just as cute as you’d imagine–the streets of downtown are brimming with historic charm. Their store, Laurel Mercantile, is no different. The space is beautifully renovated and packed with the Home Town couple’s favorite goods + wares.
Inside, you’ll find a curation products from local makers, skilled artisans and vintage inspired decor. I really liked their collection of colorful prints and wall art. And how could I forget those rugs! Even though they weren’t for sale, I left feeling oh so inspired. Ben and Erin’s love of incorporating the old with the new is definitely my cup of tea.
