New Orleans BBQ . . .
The Joint in NOLA is always smokin’. Their roundup of meats and house-made sides hits all the right notes. I’m talking fan favorites in every flavor. We ordered what felt like the perfect sampling–the internet made us do it. Reviews across the board say that The Joint’s BBQ brisket is the very best around.
I grew up in Mississippi, so I’m a sucker for Southern comfort food. Give me all the condiments, sauces and smoked barbecue. We order the signature 2 meat plate with beef brisket and pulled pork. For sides, we went with their down-home slaw, potato salad and mac ‘n cheese. The portions were hearty, and it was more than enough to feed two of us (even after a full day of exploring). Wanna end your New Orleans BBQ feast with something sweet? Locals rave about the key lime pie.
