Nashville live music . . .
If you’re dining on Broadway, chances are dinner comes with an incredible show. The live music scene in Music City is unlike any other–talent literally oozes from every corner of every block. We really enjoyed the Friday night band at Acme Feed & Seed. The soul food was delicious and the tunes set the scene. We had so much fun in Nashville.
Live music usually starts around 7pm on weekends, and restaurants can get pretty busy. Luckily, we were able to snag a seat at the bar to enjoyed crispy Diet Coke on tap. If you know, you know. Jake swears there’s nothing better. We also ordered a few local favorites from the dinner menu. I highly recommend their ‘Rule the Roost’ hot chicken sandwich and the ‘Overnight Sensation’ beef brisket sandwich. I’m talking seasoned to perfection, spicy, smokey and full of Southern flavor. Call me silly, but that side of slaw really hit the spot, too.
And don’t get me started on that historic building. If you’re into architecture, be sure to read the Acme story here. The 22,000 square foot, three story building has been around since 1890. I’m talking years and years of local life, farm-fresh food + Nashville live music.
