Nashville treats . . .
While road tripping this year, I’ve made it a habit to test and try different chocolate chip cookies along the way (i.e. a beach cookie). Christie Cookie Co. makes a mean CCC, packed with chocolate morsels and cooked to golden brown perfection. It was the perfect Nashville treat to keep the hangry feelings at bay. But the best part of this discovery may have been the location. It’s smack dab in the middle of charming 12th Avenue South (and next door to Draper James). The street has something for everyone–shopping, delicious eats and multiple wall murals for the Insta-obsessed.
If you’re looking for a cookie that’s a bit more exotic, I highly recommend their version of rocky road. Goodness gracious, that cookie was good. It was the ideal ratio of mallow, almonds and chocolate pieces. I also really enjoyed the chocolate cookie dough flavor. I really wish I could have brought home a few Nashville treats. Truth is, they never would have even lasted that long!
Planning a trip to Music City? Be sure to read my post about our Downtown Airbnb, and we did live music + dinner here on Broadway. It was a really great weekend.
